Financial Assistance:

Most states will allow adoptive parents to assist a birth mother with pregnancy related living expenses. A coordinator will discuss with you what your expenses are and how you are currently covering them. The coordinator will then develop a new budget to reflect how adoptive parents might be able to assist you in meeting your financial needs. All expenses must be pregnancy related, necessary living expenses and cannot be anything of value. The law is structured in this way so you are never put in a position of being coerced or enticed to place your child for adoption. You must first do what is best for your child and then receive the assistance you need if you need it. Let us assist you in getting the things you need to take good care of yourself.

Counseling:

All for You offers three plans for counseling. You may choose to be counseled by one of our social workers at no cost to you, you may choose to select your own support counselor and have the cost of those sessions covered by the adoptive parents or you may want us to help you find counseling in your area where the cost is based on your income. Your support counselor will assist you in whichever plan fits you the best. We highly encourage you to select one plan for counseling. An unwanted pregnancy and placing your child for adoption is a difficult thing to go through and you need help working through all of the emotions that go along with it. All for You offers lifetime counseling with our staff, at no cost to you regardless of what plan you choose.
